Charlize Theron (Mad Max: Fury Road) is set to star and produce Universal’s Need to Know based on a book written by Karen Cleveland.
Deadline reports the novel follows a mother who works as a CIA analyst. One morning, while digitally searching files in hopes of looking for a Russian sleeper cell in the U.S., she makes a shocking discovery that threatens her end her world.
Theron will produce alongside Beth Kono and AJ Dix through their Denver & Delilah Films banner.
