The official trailer for Peter Capaldi’s regeneration of “Doctor Who” checked into the World Cup Sunday night, giving football fans an extended look at the new Time Lord.
The trailer, which is full of a sense of foreboding and also showed glimpses of some creepy Cyberman, has the 12th Doctor wanting to make amends for the mistakes he’s made over the past 2000 years.
