A new featurette is out for Star Wars: The Last Jedi which offers a look at director Rian Johnson’s behind-the-scenes work on the film including glimpses of new scenes not teased in the trailers which are part of this eighth episode of the saga.
At the same time, the official Japanese Star Wars site has uploaded some new details including a tiny bit about the character arc of Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) in the new film:
“Now that the conflict between the First Order and the Resistance has escalated into total war, Poe is a shining as a leader of a courageous flying battalion. But while he is brave and a skilled pilot, both the First Order and the Resistance alike are starting to fear his dedication to the war effort.”
The heroes of ‘The Force Awakens’ join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past. Mark Hamill, the late Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro also star.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in cinemas on December 15th.
