“Mad Men” actress Christina Hendricks is in talks to join New Line’s comedy “Fist Fight” starring Ice Cube and Charlie Day. Tracy Morgan, Jillian Bell and “Breaking Bad’s” Dean Norris round out the cast for the film, which Richie Keen is directing.
The film follows two teachers (Cube and Day) who work in a broken-down school system and wind up in a fist fight with each other. The script was written by Evan Susser and Van Robichaux.
Shawn Levy is producing with Max Greenfield and John Rickard, while Day is executive producing with Dan Cohen, Marty Ewing and Billy Rosenberg. Production starts this month in Atlanta. Hendricks will play a drama teacher who has a crush on Cube’s character.
Best known for her Emmy-nominated role of Joan on AMC’s “Mad Men,” Hendricks can be seen next in Nic Refn’s “Neon Demon” opposite Elle Fanning. She was recently seen in Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut “Lost River.”
