Quentin Tarantino’s spaghetti western ‘Django Unchained’ about a German who teams up with a former slave to save his wife will have Christoph Waltz in the lead role as the German.
This movie could easily tread into some pretty touchy topics, and the rumor floating around right now is that it will. It’s a revenge flick, but word has it that the film deals with racism in a pretty heavy way too.
The title of the film is at least in part a reference to a 1966 spaghetti western called Django. That movie spawned a series of films. Then there is the more recent Takashi Mike directed movie Sukiyaki Western Django in which Quentin Tarantino co-starred. You can see clip of both fims below.
Synopsis
Django is a freed slave, who, under the tutelage of a German bounty hunter (Christopher Waltz) becomes a bad-ass bounty hunter himself, and after assisting Waltz in taking down some bad guys for profit, is helped by Waltz in tracking down his slave wife and liberating her from an evil plantation owner.
