Fear the Walking Dead star Cliff Curtis, star of AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead, has been cast in a lead role in all four sequels to director James Cameron‘s 2009 film Avatar, according to Deadline. Curtis will reportedly play Tonowari “the leader of the Metkayina, the reef people clan.”
The next chapter in the series will see the return of cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver.
the Avatar sequels will be produced by Cameron and Jon Landau through their Lightstorm Entertainment. The James Cameron-directed sequels are written by Cameron along with Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, Josh Friedman, and Shane Salerno.
