A U.S. Federal Court has denied Apple’s request that it reconsider a ruling that would have blocked sales of a Samsung smartphone in the U.S. The original court decision ruled that it would not impose a ban on the Samsung in the U.S.
Apple wanted the decision overturned. Sales of the device were blocked temporarily last summer, but Samsung was able to have that decision reversed. Today’s decision follows news earlier this week that found Samsung innocent of “willful” patent infringement. The two companies have a number of cases pending around the world.
