David Tennant is set to return as the villain Kilgrave (aka. The Purple Man) in the upcoming second season of Marvel and Netflix’s Jessica Jones. Tennant has been photographed on-set with co-star Krysten Ritter and you can see that photo below, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly and Netflix.
The character served as the main antagonist of the show’s first season and is considered arguably one of the best villains in the MCU.
How he will factor in considering his fate in the first season finale is unclear, but flashbacks and nightmares would be easy to do and fix inot the story line. Marvel is not saying either way though.
Jessica Jones returns in 2018, while the character will appear in Marvel’s The Defenders which starts streaming this Friday.
