A demo of Rayman Legends will be available on Nintendo’s Wii U eShop next week according to an announcement from Ubisoft. The follow-up to Rayman Origins was also given a launch date for next February. The Rayman Legends demo will be available to download from the Wii U eShop on Dec. 13. Details on what will be in the demo have not been revealed yet.
The Wii U exclusive has also been given a release date of Feb. 26 for North America and Feb. 28 for Europe and March 1 for the UK.
Rayman Legends promises to provide “fresh multiplayer gameplay experiences and expand beyond the traditional platformer genre.” The game supports up to five players with one player controller Murfy with the GamePad’s touchscreen to take out enemies, cut ropes to clear a path and move rotating platforms. The other four players control Rayman, Globox, the Teensies and Barbara on the TV using either the Wii Remote or the Pro Controller.
