Devil’s Third was notoriously absent from any promotional materials at E3 this year, which led many to wonder if the game will still be releasing in North America. Rumors went around that the game would not be published by Nintendo of America and those appear to be true, as reported by Siliconera. However, that doesn’t mean Tomonobu Itagaki’s game will be left out in the cold for Western fans.
Siliconera is reporting that Devil’s Third will be released by another publisher in North America and one that many Japanese fans might be familiar with. No official sources were named, but perhaps ATLUS, Bandai Namco, or NIS America are picking up on this one? Either way don’t fret, as the game is still slated for Western release even though we don’t have a date just yet.
Devil’s Third is releasing on August 4 in Japan and August 28 in Europe.
