Digital Chocolate has jumped into the #4 market position in daily active users (DAU) among Facebook games companies globally according to AppData, with well over four million DAU. Daily active users are considered a more robust measure of engaged audience than monthly users. In achieving this, Digital Chocolate passed Playdom, which was recently acquired by The Walt Disney Company, as well as PopCap Games.

Digital Chocolate has been the fastest growing virtual goods game company on Facebook this year. The company has enjoyed great success with its smash hit Millionaire City, the second fastest growing game on all of Facebook in 2010. Expanding beyond Millionaire City and earlier hit MMA Pro Fighter, Digital Chocolate recently launched Hollywood City, Island God, Vegas City, Epic Fighters and Ninjas Rising on Facebook in November. Even excluding Millionaire City, the company has added over 1.3 million daily active users this year on Facebook, more than any of its competitors, and with five growing titles has more virtual goods games on the rise than any other company.
Digital Chocolate has also expanded its smartphone offerings, bringing versions of its hit social gaming brands to platforms like Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Android. The company recently introduced mobile versions of Millionaire City, MMA Pro Fighter and Hollywood City, and has plans for additional releases shortly. Digital Chocolate has one of the largest footprints in the world on mobile devices with over 100 million downloads.
