Disney is the last major studio to cut a deal with the “pay as you go” joint venture between DreamWorks Animation and Technicolor. M-Go logoThe agreement covers “a selection of films as they become available” from Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Disney-Pixar, Marvel Studios, and DreamWorks Studios.
Titles immediately available include Iron Man 3, Marvel’s The Avengers, Monsters University, Disney’s Planes, Finding Nemo, and the Toy Story films. In addition to the Disney agreement, M-GO introduced its M-Go To Go service with an app that enables iPad users to download movies. The company already has an Android app and works on Web browsers. The agreements represent “our company’s latest proof point in delivering on M-GO’s mission to get people to the entertainment content they love as quickly and easily as possible on the devices they choose,” CEO John Batter says.
