Christmas Day is nearly here and while there is no new Star Wars film being released this time of year after the last three years of The Force Awakens, Rogue One and The Last Jedi dominating the holiday box office, Disney still plans to release something related to the galaxy far, far away on Christmas Day with a brand new sneak peek at the upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge themed lands that are opening at both Disneyland Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This exclusive sneak peek at the highly-anticipated land will air as part of the upcoming Disney Parks Magical Christmas Parade, which will air on ABC on Christmas morning at 10e/9c/p.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was first announced at the D23 Expo in 2015, where Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that this land will bring the magic of George Lucas’ beloved franchise to life like never before. Sure, Disney Parks have had Star Wars themed attractions and events in the past such as Star Tours and its current iteration, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, but this will be a truly-immersive experience that guests of all ages can enjoy.
The lands will feature two major E-Ticket attractions: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. The former will be a trackless attraction that places guests in the midst of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance. The latter attraction will put guests right inside the cockpit of the late Han Solo’s beloved piece of junk as they go on their own mission.
