San Francisco based comic book publisher, eigoMANGA has released their event schedule for Anime Expo 2011, which takes place on July 1-4, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. eigoMANGA will be exhibiting at Booth #639.
Animation Screenings:
- ‘Demian’ is a story about an elite government team that pilots a five into one super robot fighting force. They are called to take down their robot’s creator who is now a terrorist. It is screening on Saturday, July 2 at 5pm in Video Room 4 (LACC 406).
- ‘Break Ups’ is a slice of life story about a young couple with an on-and-off relationship. They stumble upon a time machine that takes them back to several periods in their lives as a couple.It is screening on Saturday July 2 at 5:30pm in Video Room 4 (LACC 406).
Panels and Workshops:
- eigoMANGA presents ‘How To Draw Manga And Portfolio Review’ on Friday, July 1st at 1:00pm and is located at WS 1 (LACC 515B). Artists and editors from eigoMANGA’s comic book publications ‘Rumble Pak’ and ‘Sakura Pakk’ teach the fundamentals of manga illustration and storytelling.
- eigoMANGA’s Industry Panel is on Saturday, July 2nd at 9:30am and is located at LP 4 (LACC 411). The company discusses their productions in doujin gaming, animation releases, mobile tablet app launch, and mass-market graphic novel releases!
- And finally, eigoMANGA hosts ‘Bringing Doujin Gaming To The US’ panel on Sunday, July 3rd at 4:30pm and is located at LP 4 (LACC411). eigoMANGA and Japanese game publisher, Carpe Fulgur discuss the opportunities and challenges of bringing doujin games (independent Japanese games) to the U.S. market.
