Epson today announced two additions to its line of Perfection scanners, the Epson Perfection V37 and V370. The two new scanners offer 4800×9600 dpi optical resolution and integrate scan-to-cloud capabilities, allowing them to scan, access, organize, and share documents through services like Google Docs, MS SharePoint, Evernote, and other services.
Both models feature a high-rise 180-degree lid for scanning oversized material. The V370 features a built-in 35mm Transparency Unit, allowing users to scan mounted slides, negatives and film strips.
The new models also include ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch software, allowing them to scan portions of documents and then stitch them together; Easy Photo Fix, which lets users restore color from faded prints and make other corrections; ReadyScan LED technology that eliminates warm-up time and decreases power consumption; and One-Touch performance, which makes for a streamlined scanning process.
The V37 and V370 are available now exclusively at Epson.com, and will be available at Staples in mid-November. The V37 retails for $90, and the V370 retails for $120.
