EVGA today shows is they understand most of us don’t build rigs with an optical disc anymore. Today the firm tweeted they are switch from driver DVDs to using USB flash drives instead. All future motherboards will ship with drivers on a pico-sized 8GB flash drive.
While we always tell you when building to get skip the bundled drivers and grab the latest drivers from the maker’s web site, there are times you just cannot not do that.
Heck a USB flash drive can always be put to good use. Much more useful than using disc as a coaster or clothing. (There was a guy who came to a Windows 95 launch event, who had a vest made of beta build CDs. I coudl not find my picture of Bill Gate with him)
