Warner Bros. Pictures have announced the official Fantastic Beasts sequel title, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and have released a first-look image from the production showcasing the key cast.
Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, with Jude Law and Johnny Depp star in the new film in which Grindelwald (Depp) has escaped custody and has set about gathering followers. In an effort to thwart his plans, Albus Dumbledore (Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander (Redmayne) who agrees to help but is unaware of the dangers that lie ahead.
Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world. Also pictured in the photo are Claudia Kim as Maledictus, Zoe Kravitz as Leta Lestrange and Callum Turner as Newt’s older brother Theseus Scamander who is also the Head of the Auror Office.
