Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be hosting the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, which will be televised on NBC in January. The SNL alums will succeed Ricky Gervais who had a 2 year run as host.
Fey and Poehler first worked together performing in the Second City Improv group in Chicago. They met up again for their respective stints on Saturday Night Live, and have collaborated on the projects including the films Baby Mama and Mean Girls.
The Golden Globe awards are presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and will air live in January.
