Telltale Games is known for creating rich stories in its episodic games. Most recently, its latest project dived into the world of Game of Thrones. Now, it’s finishing up development on a new game involving Minecraft, a game that didn’t have a main storyline at release, and it’s coming digitally on October 13.
On release day, players will be able to play the story’s first episode, titled “The Order of the Stone.” You take on the role of a male or female hero named Jesse and must traverse the various biomes and planes of the world in order to find the legendary Order of the Stone and save the world from destruction.
The first episode will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Wii U. On the portable side, it’s coming to iOS, Android and the PlayStation Vita. If you’re willing to wait a few more days, you can grab the physical copy on October 27 (October 30 in Europe), which not only includes the first episode but the subsequent four episodes planned for the game.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but considering that past Telltale Games episodes are $5 each or $25 for an entire season of five episodes, it’s likely that this game will cost a similar amount.
