Filmmaker Shane Black has confirmed the first trailer for The Predator, his sequel/refresh of the classic sci-fi/action franchise, is set to be released imminently.
Following a photo he posted the other day from the set of the reshoots which wrapped last week, Black has since responded to a question on his Twitter profile and confirmed that the movie’s trailer will hit mid-April.
The new film is said to be funnier than previous entries, with the main group of humans being a bunch of hospitalized war veterans. The recent two weeks of reshoots are apparently set to add some more serious material back in for tonal reasons.
The Predator opens in cinemas on September 14th.
Nope! Just busy. Expect a teaser mid-april… how's this — my brother and I used to actually close our eyes when the theater ran trailers. Wouldn't it be cool to go in knowing nothing? 🙂
