Fring on Monday updated its free iOS app to add group video chat for iPad owners. It now has the same four-way conversation support as the phone apps but sizes the interface to give much more room for each user. The interface takes advantage of the larger space to let users drag contacts into the chat.
It continues to support features like simultaneous text chat and will work over both 3G and Wi-Fi. As before, chats are cross-platform and work with Android and Symbian users.
No mention has been made of if or when Android tablets will get native group video chat.
