Fujitsu plans on bringing out a new tablet, Sylistic Q550, running Windows 7 Professional and an Intel Atom Oak Trail processor. The device will be aimed at the enterprise market and may even sport a fingerprint reader. It will also have an SD card slot and a trusted platform module (TPM) for corporate buyers worried about security.
The 10-inch LCD touchscreen will work with both a stylus or fingers. The choice of storage will include 32GB or 64GB solid state drives, while a 3G module will be optional, along with a USB port. Battery life is claimed to be eight hours.
The tablet will be unveiled at CeBIT in Germany next month, and is expected to appear in European stores this April, though prices should be announced at CeBIT.
