In an attempt to stay ahead of leaks and/or hacks, HBO will make several ends for the Game Of Thrones.
has come up with an elaborate way to keep the ending to the series top secret – they’ll make several of them.
It’s not an unusual tactic, one quite a few high profile cable shows have done in the past including HBO’s own The Soprano”. Casey Bloys, HBO president of programming, visited Moravian College in his hometown of Bethlehem, PA recently and the local Morning Call news scored a quote about the network’s plans:
“[We’ll] shoot multiple versions so that nobody really know what happens. You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no definitive answer until the end.”
The comments come in the wake of both a seventh season of the series that was the subject of numerous leaks, while the network was the subject of one of the biggest hacks in the industry to date.
The six-episode eighth and final season of Game Of Thrones begins production next month with the shoot to run through into next Summer.
