Garmin has announced that its premium navigation apps for iOS, NAVIGON and StreetPilot, will be available at a 50 per cent discount on Black Friday. Garmin’s premium apps offer a range of features not included in its free app versions, such as being able to store map information locally on the iPhone.

StreetPilot Onboard iPhone USA and North America, providing users with advanced GPS navigation, trip planning and emergency location information, are due to be priced at $25 and $30 respectively. NAVIGON USA (discounted for $25), North America (priced at $30) and US East ($15) are also feature comprehensive GPS navigation, and additionally are compatible with Garmin’s new Head-Up Display. Black Friday sales begin this Friday, November 29.
