The Cadillac CTS Sedan was just released last year, but the company has already announced numerous updates for the 2015 Cadillac CTS. To start with, a redesigned front end now displays a chrome grille with active aero elements that sits between new LED headlights, whilethe CTS Vsport model comes with a black-chrome grille. Featured prominently on the grille is the new wreathless Cadillac crest, behind which sits the same standard 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, rated at 272 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. More power is found in the Vsport’s 3.6L Twin-Turbo V6 engine, which has 420 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, and also remains the most powerful V6 engines in GM history. A direct-injection fuel system is new to both models. Both engines come with an eight-speed automatic transmission, as opposed to the six-speed auto transmission that was used previously. New tech features arrive in the form of onboard Wi-Fi, wireless smartphone charging, more lane assist systems, and Automatic Parking Assist–which enables the car to parallel- and perpendicular-park itself. Also of note are the two new color options: Dark Adriatic Blue Metallic and Crystal White Tricoat.
