It’s been less than a years since series creator Rob Thomas launched a Kickstarter to raise funds for a feature film version of his popular detective series Veronica Mars . Following an overwhelming wave of fan support, the film is gearing up to hit theaters at some point in 2014 and, today, has a released a brand new featurette.
Anticipated by fans since the series went off the air in 2007, Kristen Bell returns as the titular Mars, a young student who, growing up with a detective for a father, moonlit as a private investigator. The film picks up nearly ten years after the series finale and follows Veronica as she returns to Neptune, California.
