Zhang Ziyi has joined Legendary and Warner Bros.’ creature feature Godzilla: King of the Monsters in a deal that calls for the actress to feature in other films in the Monsterverse – most likely including Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs Kong.
Zhang’s character is a key figure in the covert, creature-cataloging Monarch organization established in both Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island. Michael Dougherty is directing Godzilla: King of the Monsters from a script by Dougherty and Zach Shields
