Google has made it easier for people to buy movie tickets thanks to a partnership with Fandango.
Now, Android device owners can ask Google Assistant for help purchasing tickets. After finding a movie, theater, and time that works, Google Assistant will hand you off to Fandango online. People can buy tickets via Fandango without downloading or installing the separate Fandango mobile app. Movie queries that are started on a Google Home product will be forwarded to your phone to complete the purchase.
The online tool ensures that you can select the right number of tickets, as well as pick reserved seats in theaters that include such options. This feature is reserved for Android phones right now. Siri can provide similar assistance on the iPhone.
