Sparrow today announced that it has been acquired by Google for an undisclosed sum. Sparrow offers a Gmail client for Apple computers and for the iPhone.
The company said that it will be joining Google’s Gmail team, to “accomplish a bigger vision … that we think we can better achieve with Google.”
Sparrow will continue to support its current products and customers.
