Google has unveiled YouTube Gaming, a dedicated video service that will focus on gamers.
The site will have its own search algorithms so results focus on games. It will feature landing pages for games, and allow uses to upload their gameplay (similar to Twitch, which was bought by Amazon earlier this year).
Google said it will ensure it is easy to upload and broadcast gaming content, will reduce latency, and plans to allow for highlight clips and other features. YouTube Gaming will be available later this summer on the web and as Android and iOS apps.
