The latest version of Google Photos for Android devices includes a new video stabilization tool.
Google’s software goes beyond what the individual phone’s own hardware and software do to improve videos. Using the Google Photos in-app editing function, people can apply the stabilization technique to their video clips at any time. The app automatically saves a new, stabilized copy of the clip and maintains the original clip in its pure form. The results are slightly cropped when compared to the original.
