Google has announced that it’s adding an auto white balance feature to Google Photos. As the name implies, the feature will automatically correct the white balance of the photo that you select.
Many photo editing tools offer the ability to tweak your white balance, but not everyone has the time or skill to manually edit their images. This Google Photos update aims to make photo editing easier for those people by adding white balance to the ways that it can automatically improve users’ images. Google Photos can also correct your exposure and saturation. If you’d like, you can go into Color and further tweak the Warmth and Tint yourself.
The new auto white balance feature will roll out to Google Photos on Android and the web this week. iOS users will get it “soon.”
