Google said that Google Play Services 4.2 is now being pushed out to most Android devices worldwide. The latest version of Play Services includes the Google Cast SDK, which Google just released to app developers.
Devices that have been updated to Play Service 4.2 will be compatible with apps that add support for Chromecast. Google pushed Play Services 4.1 out just last month.
