Sega has announced plans to launch a PlayStation Vita version of its PlayStation 3 character-based rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F.
Produced by Crypton Future Media in Japan, the music game features virtual singer Hatsune Miku and her distinctive synthesized sound. Sega said that popular reception of the PlayStation 3 game, released last summer, prompted the company to bring the Vita version to the West. It will launch via digital, early in 2014.
“We’re excited to bring this global phenomenon and share it with fans in the West,” said Sega of America boss John Cheng. “Now gamers will be able to experience and enjoy Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f [Vita version has lower case f] anywhere, anytime, and on the go with the portable.”
