HBO’s Eric Kessler announced on Tuesday that all HBO subscribers will now be able to stream content from the HBO Go iOS app to any TV via AirPlay. To gain access to AirPlay support, customers must download the latest version of the free HBO Go app from the App Store.
The support is limited to devices running iOS 6 and Apple TVs running the v5.1.1 software or later. An official Apple TV app is also in the works, however it is unknown when this will be released.
