NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” is bringing in some big names for its hour-long Season 6 premiere, with Heidi Klum and Henry Winkler set for guest-star appearances.
In the Sept. 26 premiere, a handful of the “Parks” gang will be hopping the pond to London, where Amy Poehler’s Leslie will receive a “Woman in Government” award from an international organization. At the event, she comes across a mayor of a small town in Denmark who is a fellow recipient. EW reports that Klum will play the woman. “Her town completely worships her in a way that makes Leslie a little jealous, considering that Leslie is undergoing a recall vote in Pawnee,” executive producer Michael Schur tells the magazine.
Winkler, meanwhile, will pop up in the premiere as Jean-Ralphio’s (Ben Schwartz) father, THR reports. The “Happy Days” alum’s role has the potential to return in future episodes.
Klum and Winkler join previously announced Season 6 guest star Kristen Bell, who is slated to appear in the following week’s episode.
“Parks and Recreation” returns to NBC for Season 6 on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m.
