TorrentFreak has released their list of the year’s most pirated movies, and following chart topper “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” is Quentin Tarantino’s slavery/revenge flick “Django Unchained.” Some of that data for QT’s film could be due to China’s yanking of the film from theaters earlier this year—the country is one of the biggest markets in the world—leading to widely reported bootlegging of ‘Django’ from fans and cinephiles eager to see the movie.
Meanwhile, there are no big surprises on the rest of the list—some of the year’s most popular movies are also the ones most sought out online. Check out the full list below.
