Season 3 of the Showtime spy drama Homeland concluded on Sunday night before an audience of 2.4 million total viewers in its first airing, and totaled 2.9 mil for the night — both marking all-time highs. Homeland‘s previous bests were set by Season 2, Episode 11 (2.36 million viewers) and the Season 2 finale (which amassed 2.7 million across the night). Year-over-year, Homeland is up some 18 percent versus Season 2.
Meanwhile, Masters of Sex‘s Season 1 “climax” drew 1.2 million viewers, up 21 percent versus its series launch. Season-to-date, Sex is up 13 percent versus Homeland’s own freshman season.
