HP has revealed a pair of new displays. The new HP Z27i 27-inch and Z30i 30-inch second-generation IPS displays are aimed at designers, content creators, and knowledge workers seeking image accuracy and display adjustability.
The HP Z27i is a 27-inch display, with 2560×1440 resolution at 350 cd/m luminance. Input is provided by DisplayPort, DVI, VGA, and HDMI. A four-port USB 3.0 hub is integrated into the monitor. The Z30i has all the same inputs as the HP Z27i as well as the USB 3.0 hub, but is a 30-inch display, with 2560×1600 resolution, and also at 350 cd/m.
Built with IPS second-generation panels, both HP Z Displays deliver a power savings of up to 37 percent compared to HP’s first-generation IPS technology product. The HP Z Displays are Energy Star qualified and EPEAT Gold registered. Both displays feature an HP four-way adjustable stand that includes the HP QR2 quick release, and both are TCO Certified. An HP Thin Client Mount Kit also is available for both the HP Z27i and Z30i, allowing users to securely mount an HP Thin Client or Ultra Slim desktop to the back of the display.
The HP Z27i is scheduled to be available in October starting at $729, and the HP Z30i Display is available today starting at $1,329.
