A press photograph of the upcoming HTC M7 has leaked online, a week before the company is due to reveal the smartphone, and two weeks before Mobile World Congress. The image, showing what has been rumored to be called the HTC One, shows the mobile phone as having metalic edges and a nearly edge-to-edge touchscreen display.
The leaked image, again from the evleaks Twitter account, comes at the same time as reports that the device’s camera may have been used to take a photograph. A posting on Flickr, spotted by TechCrunch, shows a sheet full of what appears to be a file list, and is taken by a device described as being the HTC One. The 4.1-megapixel image and 2.0 aperature is said to match other reports claiming the phone will have an “Ultrapixel” camera that takes advantage of three stacked 4-megapixel sensors for improved color depth, dynamic range and sharpness.
Exact specifications for the M7 have yet to be leaked, though parts alleged to be the front and rear housing have appeared online. More details could possibly leak before HTC’s launch event on February 19th.
