HTC is releasing a version of its flagship smartphone with a gold coloring, for the second time. The revised gold HTC One, spotted previously in a leak a month before the MOBO award version, and though it shares the coloring of the 18-carat promotional version gifted to a music award winner, it is a more general and significantly cheaper release.
Besides the color, it is the same quad-core Snapdragon 600, 2GB of RAM and 4-megapixel Ultrapixel camera are present, as well as the unchanged 4.7-inch 1080p display.
Availability and pricing for the golden HTC One has not been revealed by HTC, though Finnish retailer Gigantti lists it as shipping on December 12th for 635 euros ($845).
