IDW will be releasing a prequel comic for the upcoming J.J. Abrams film Star Trek Into Darkness is on its way and will be titled Star Trek Countdown to Darkness. The solicitation for the series is this:
The countdown to the motion picture event of 2013 begins here, in this blockbuster 4-issue prequel mini-series that sets the stage for the upcoming STAR TREK film! The comic will lead up to the May 17 release for the film.
