Klipsch announced today the launch of its Image X7i line, the first-ever ceramic headphone models made by the Indianapolis-based company. The new in-ear buds are designed to accentuate bass, mids, and highs, and they are built to function along with iPhones, iPads, and iPods. The units retail for $200 and are available on Klipsch’s site.
The ceramic casing of the earbuds is designed to ensure durability, and the seal on the buds cancels outside noise. The X7i line features flat, tangle-resistant cables and a directional mic for hands-free phone calls. The earbuds also feature a three-button remote that provides music and voice control on selected Apple products.
The Image X7i features a proprietary armature driver, which is capable of producing faithful sound across a wide frequency range. The earbuds are available in black or white ceramic finish, and they come with a carrying case, clothing clip, and two-year warranty.
