Apple has made the iPhone 5s newly available through its Personal Pickup program. The option allows people to order a product online, but pick it up at a local Apple Store, saving time. Some 5s models are reportedly available for same-day pickup at some stores, despite Apple having gone through much of its launch stock. The iPhone 5c is believed to be more widely available.
People wanting a 5s delivered may now have to wait a considerable amount of time. All models are listed as shipping in “October” at Apple’s US online store. The 5c, by contrast, is shipping within 24 hours.
