Isabela Moner (Transformers: The Last Knight, Sicario: Day of the Soldado) is set to play the live-action Dora the Explorer in Paramount Pictures’ live-action movie based on the popular Nickelodeon series.
Moner plays a teenage Dora on an adventure, accompanied by her best friend, Boots the monkey, and her cousin Diego. Further specifics about the plot are under wraps.
The Muppets movie director James Bobin and writer Nicholas Stoller will helm and pen the film respectively while Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller will produce. The film is set for release on August 2nd 2019.
