Cover manufacturer iSkin has started production on four different ranges of iPhone 5 cases. The Fall 2012 Collection includes both soft and firm cases and a fairly wide array of construction materials, all of which take into account the extra size and differences that the iPhone 5 has compared to previous versions.
The Aura collection features a tri-color design composed of colored aluminum and polycarbonate surfaces. A palette of six tones complement the aluminum panels, which are positioned to avoid signal degradation. The snap-on design includes a rubberized side grip for extra hold. The Vibes collection consists of slim-profile snap-on cases with a high-gloss finish, and has a polka dot edition with a leatherette fabric on the back.
The Solo, long-standing member of the iSkin catalog since 2008, is a soft and flexible thermoplastic case that now has a new line of vibrant colors to choose from. The Claro, on the other hand, is a clear, hard case for those wanting to protect the iPhone 5 while leaving it as unblemished as possible.
All of the cases mentioned have a built-in anti-glare camera ring, which resists glare when taking flash-assisted photos in dark environments. The Aura series is on sale for $40, the Vibes including polka dots edition for $35, and both the Solo and Claro will cost $30.
