J.D. Power has shared the results of its 2017 Wireless Router Satisfaction Report.
The 10 factors measured in the 2017 report include (in order of importance) Wi-Fi range; reliability; speed of upload/download; restore connection easily; security capabilities; price; ease of use; variety of features; intuitive user interface; and customer service.
This year’s Report finds that overall satisfaction has declined from 2016 in all 10 measures, Sadly the biggest drop came in customer service.
Something that should all the makers should take note of – satisfied customers remain loyal.
In this PS Plus world, most customers use a wireless router to connect to their smartphones and price is the driving factor for choosing a wireless router.
Different brands were also ranked, with TP-Link (839 out of 1,000) ranking highest for the first time, and performing particularly well in security capabilities; price; variety of features; and intuitive user interface, followed by Belkin (835), D-Link (834), and by Asus.
