Headset manufacturer Jabra has announced the Jabra Motion series which includes the Jabra Motion and Jabra Motion UC, Unified Communcation-based headsets aimed at the rapidly growing Mobile Worker workforce. The iOS- and Android-compatible wireless headset is shipping the second quarter of this year.
With a combination of motion sensors and microphones, the Jabra Motion automatically adapts to the sound environment and adjusts to ensure optimal and clear sound throughout a conversation, whether in a noisy office or on the road. The headset registers any movement instantly; when a user picks up the handset, the call is answered simultaneously. Similarly, when the wearer start moving, the speaker volume is automatically adjusted. When put down upon completion of the call, the device powers down.
Supplementing the Jabra Motion is the Bluetooth Jabra Speak 510 Bluetooth speaker set. The speaker is designed for individual or small office use, and supplements a mobile device’s existing speaker/microphone combination for clear communications and collaboration.
The Jabra Motion earpiece is expected to retail for $129. The Jabra Speak 510 will sell for $179. Both the Jabra Motion and Jabra Speak 510 Bluetooth speaker are expected at retail in April.
