The Jawbone Up, first unveiled in July, is now set to ship on November 6. The device is an innovative fitness and lifestyle tracker that incorporates numerous tracking functions. The Up is made to work in conjunction with the free Up app , so users can track their progress.
Worn on the wrist, the Up tracker keeps a record of a user’s steps, their distance traveled, their pace, their intensity as well as their calories burned. It can even prompt users who have been too sedentary to get up and go out for a walk or run. It also prompts users to take photos of all the food that they might eat throughout the day, giving users a very detailed total view of their calorie intake and expenditure.
The Up is also designed to track a user’s sleep patterns, the hours they have slept, the best time to go to sleep, sleep phases, hours slept and overall sleeping quality.
Jawbone Up will retail for $100
