Blumhouse Productions has secured distribution rights to the upcoming “found footage” project Peachfuzz, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter. The film, produced by Jay and Mark Duplass, also stars the latter and was directed by Patrick Brice.
Details on the film’s plot are few but it is said to be in the horror genre and follows the adventures of a man who gets in over his head after responding to an ad on Craigslist.
The Duplass brothers are well known for their work with low-budget Mumblecore projects like The Puffy Chair. Blumhouse is similarly known for microbudgeted fare like the Paranormal Activity franchise.
